Source Code of PCTTY -- A TTY Emulator for Windows

The source code of PCTTY is released to the public as public domain. Reasons why it is not currently open source are discussed in BUILD.txt.

This source code file compiles on VC++ (2010) Within the source directory are two make files: record1d.mak (debug make file) and record1r.mak (release make file) which will compile the files if you do have the command line VC C++ 2010 (which I have) but don't have the Visual Studio IDE (which I don't have).

The PCTTY C++ Source code for compiler Visual Studio C++ (2010) can be downloaded here (35mb!).

The executable for this version and other files needed to run PCTTY are here. You need these files to run PCTTY so you need to download this zip file and run install.exe as well as download the source.

The latest actual executable, tailored for SIP and tested on Windows7 is here(6mb) After you have installed the tty20091210.zip file just above, you should copy the record.exe (PCTTY executable) to the directory you installed to.

Instructions on how to build the VC code are in BUILD.txt.

Instructions on setting up the web interface (PCTTY Bank) to PCTTY are in web/readme.txt.

Instructions on how to configure apache if setting up PCTTY bank are in web/apachestuff/httpd.conf.webstuff.txt

FAQs and downloading executable versions of PCTTY are at www.pctty.com. This includes SAPI v4 voices and DLLs, and predictive-text-SMS-on-the-touchtone-phone files for both Australia and America.
